Nissens radiator for Discovery 2 Td5 cooling system repairs
This Nissens radiator fits Land Rover Discovery 2 Td5 models and replaces the original engine cooling radiator fitted under part number PCC001070G. It also covers superseded radiator part numbers PCC000640G, PCC107270G and PDK000080G.
Radiator condition is important on a Td5, especially on vehicles used for towing, off-road work or regular long journeys. Common reasons for replacement include coolant loss, corrosion around the radiator core or tanks, damaged fins, blocked internal passages, poor cooling performance, or replacing an old radiator during a wider cooling system refresh.
When fitting a new radiator, check the coolant hoses, hose clips, expansion tank, thermostat, viscous fan and coolant condition. If the old radiator has failed due to contamination or long-term neglect, flush the system properly before refilling with the correct antifreeze mixture.
