Meyle replacement water pump for Td5 cooling system repairs
This Meyle Td5 water pump fits Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. It is a branded replacement coolant pump for the Td5 engine and replaces PEM500040G and ERR6505.
A worn Td5 water pump can cause coolant leaks, bearing noise, poor coolant circulation or general cooling system problems. It is commonly replaced when there are signs of coolant loss around the pump area, pump bearing wear, or during wider Td5 cooling system refresh work.
The pump is supplied with seals pre-fitted. When fitting, check the coolant pump cover, mounting bolts, coolant hoses, thermostat and coolant condition. Old Td5 water pump bolts can be corroded or damaged, so replacing them at the same time can make reassembly cleaner and reduce the risk of problems later.
