Description
Discovery 2 Td5 lower coolant rail
This lower coolant rail connects the coolant pipework on Discovery 2 Td5 engines. The original metal rail can leak from the drain-plug area, or from pinholes caused by corrosion in the pipework.
The coolant drain plug is a known weak point on these rails. If the drain plug is used, apply anti-seize to the threads before refitting. In many cases, draining the coolant by removing a hose is the safer option than relying on an old drain plug.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
