Td5 injector wiring harness replacement
This AMR6103G injector wiring harness is an OE-quality replacement under-rocker loom for Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. It plugs onto the injectors inside the rocker cover and connects to the engine harness with no coding or modification required.
The Td5 injector loom is a common service item because engine oil can travel through the wiring and contaminate the engine loom and ECU red plug. This can cause poor running, misfires, rough idle, hesitation, fault codes or intermittent electrical issues.
Replacing the injector harness is the correct first step when dealing with oil contamination from the under-rocker loom. After fitting the new loom, clean the ECU red plug and harness connector thoroughly, then recheck after use because oil already inside the main loom can continue to migrate for a while.
For cleaning the ECU plug and connectors, use a suitable residue-free cleaner such as our brake, clutch and electrical cleaner spray. If the rocker cover is being removed, it is also worth checking the Td5 rocker cover sealing grommets and replacing tired fixings with our Td5 rocker cover bolt kit if needed.
