Description
Defender and Series 3 clutch master cylinder replacement
This Delphi clutch master cylinder fits Land Rover Defender and Series 3 models using the STC500100 type clutch master cylinder. It replaces earlier Land Rover part numbers 550732, STC100410 and STC100411.
A worn clutch master cylinder can cause fluid loss, a low or soft clutch pedal, poor clutch disengagement or difficulty selecting gears. If the cylinder is leaking externally or bypassing internally, replacement is normally the sensible repair.
When fitting the new cylinder, the pushrod adjustment and locking nuts need to be secure. A stainless steel Defender clutch master cylinder pushrod nut kit is available separately if the original nuts are corroded or damaged. You can also view more Defender clutch parts and brake fluid for the job.
