Description
R380 clutch slave cylinder fitment
FTC5072G fits selected Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models with the R380 manual gearbox. It is not the Td5 clutch slave cylinder; Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 use a different slave cylinder.
Typical symptoms of a failing clutch slave cylinder include clutch fluid loss, a low or inconsistent biting point, a spongy clutch pedal, or difficulty selecting gears. If the clutch hydraulics are being refreshed, it is also worth checking the master cylinder, flexible hose and fluid condition.
