Discovery 2 clutch master cylinder replacement
This AP Driveline clutch master cylinder fits Land Rover Discovery 2 manual models from 1998–2004, including Td5 and V8 vehicles. It replaces Land Rover part number STC000280G and is a good-quality option when you want an OE-standard hydraulic replacement.
A worn clutch master cylinder can cause a soft or sinking pedal, inconsistent bite point, difficulty selecting gears, creeping pedal feel or visible fluid loss. Replacing the master cylinder helps restore proper hydraulic pressure where the fault is in the upper clutch hydraulic circuit.
When replacing the master cylinder, it is sensible to inspect the rest of the clutch hydraulic system at the same time. The TD5 clutch slave cylinder for R380 is available separately, and fresh DOT 4 brake / clutch fluid should be used when bleeding the system.
