Genuine Lucas Td5 crank sensor replacement
This genuine Lucas Td5 crank sensor fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It provides the crankshaft speed signal the ECU needs before the engine can start and continue running.
A failed or intermittent crank sensor can cause crank/no-start, sudden cut-out, poor hot restarting or loss of RPM signal on diagnostics. Wiring faults can cause similar symptoms, so check the sensor plug and loom condition before replacing parts.
