Td5 oil cooler repair kit with Nissens cooler
This kit is for repairing the original Td5 oil cooler assembly when the cast housing is still serviceable. Instead of replacing the complete housing, you keep the original casting and replace the cooler, gasket, O-ring and sealing hardware.
The main difference is the cooler itself. Many Td5 oil cooler repair kits are supplied with generic replacement coolers; this version uses a Nissens oil cooler with an Elring gasket, making it the quality-first option in our Td5 oil cooler repair kit range. We also include the oil filter housing gasket and housing O-ring as standard.

Fitment
Fits Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. Use this kit when the original oil cooler housing can be reused. If the housing is cracked, badly corroded or has damaged threads, replace the complete housing assembly instead.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
