Replacement Td5 water pump for Defender and Discovery 2
This Td5 water pump fits Land Rover Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. It replaces PEM500040 and ERR6505, and is supplied with the seals already fitted.
A worn water pump can cause coolant leaks, bearing noise, poor coolant circulation or general cooling system problems. It is commonly replaced when there are signs of coolant loss around the pump area, pump bearing wear, or during wider Td5 cooling system refresh work.
When fitting, check the coolant pump cover, mounting bolts, hoses, thermostat and coolant condition. Old Td5 water pump bolts can be corroded or damaged, so replacing them at the same time can make the job cleaner and reduce the risk of reassembly problems.
