Replacement bolts for Td5 water pump repairs
This Td5 water pump bolt kit is for the coolant pump / water pump fitted to Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It is intended for use with Td5 water pumps listed under PEM500040 and ERR6505.
The original bolts can become worn, corroded or damaged, especially if the water pump has been removed before. Replacing the bolts during the job helps avoid rounded heads, poor clamping or problems when refitting the coolant pump cover.
When fitting, make sure the pump cover is seated correctly before tightening the bolts. The Td5 water pump bolts should be tightened to 9 Nm / 7 lb ft.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
