Description
Not all Td5 rocker cover gaskets are the same. This is the later-type gasket used on 15P and 16P Td5 engines, making it the correct choice for later Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 applications.
It is also suitable for early 10P engines that have been fitted with an AMC cylinder head, where the later gasket arrangement is used.
If you are dealing with oil leakage from the rocker cover area, or replacing parts while the top of the engine is already apart, it makes sense to fit the correct gasket rather than reusing an old flattened one.
Victor Reinz is a well-known gasket brand and a sensible choice for this job with a superior fit and finish.
