Discovery 2 Expansion Tank / Coolant Reservoir EU2 PCF101420

This Discovery 2 expansion tank (PCF101420) is a quality replacement for the original coolant reservoir fitted to EU2-spec Td5 models. Over time the factory plastic tank often becomes brittle, stained or cracked around the seams, which can lead to loss of coolant and overheating – especially on hard-worked or towing vehicles.

Fitting a new expansion tank is cheap insurance against serious engine damage. This tank restores the correct coolant volume and sight level, allowing you to safely monitor the condition and level of the coolant in your Td5.

PCF101420 is the earlier EU2-style tank without provisions for the later EGR cooler plumbing. It can also be used on later EU3 Discovery 2s where the EGR cooler has been removed and the cooling system returned to the simpler EU2 layout.
