Replacement LT230 transmission brake backing plate
STC1533 / ICL100010 is the later-type backing plate for the LT230 transmission handbrake assembly. It supports and locates the transmission brake shoes, handbrake cable, adjuster and related hardware, so a solid backing plate is important for correct handbrake setup.
Replace the backing plate if the original is badly corroded, distorted, cracked or worn around the shoe contact areas, cable mount or adjuster. A rotten or damaged backplate can make the transmission handbrake difficult to adjust correctly and can allow poor shoe location, dragging or uneven handbrake operation.
This is the later-type backplate used with the cross plate anti-rattle spring arrangement. Fitment is best checked against the existing transmission brake setup, especially on early vehicles, late changeover vehicles or LT230 conversions.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
