Description

Replacement Td5 idler pulley for non-air-con models

This auxiliary drive belt idler pulley fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models without air conditioning. On non-air-con Td5 engines, the pulley and spacer form part of the auxiliary belt layout, so the air-con and non-air-con belt setups must not be mixed.

A worn idler pulley can cause noise from the front of the engine, rough pulley rotation, belt tracking problems or visible wear around the auxiliary belt path. If the pulley feels rough, loose or noisy when spun by hand, replacement is usually the sensible fix.

This pulley is for Td5 vehicles without air conditioning. If your vehicle has air conditioning, check the belt layout before ordering because the auxiliary drive arrangement is different. For belt fitment and related belt options, see our Td5 auxiliary belts page.

Warranty

Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.

Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.

Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.

This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
