Description
This Bilstein B6 4600 shock absorber kit is a superb upgrade for any Land Rover Discovery 2 used on road, off road or for towing. The kit includes a matched set of four Bilstein B6 gas-pressure dampers – two front and two rear – designed specifically for the D2 chassis.
Bilstein’s high-pressure monotube design gives much better control than tired OE or budget shocks. The wheels stay in contact with the road over bumps, reducing body roll, pitch and nose-dive under braking. The result is a Discovery 2 that feels more stable in corners, less floaty on the motorway and far more composed when loaded or towing.
These dampers work excellently with good quality standard-height springs and are also suitable for many mild uprated spring setups where extreme lift isn’t required.
