Complete Td5 intercooler hose clip kit for all Td5 engines. These are genuine Jubilee® clips in 316 Stainless Steel HNSS with rolled edges to protect hoses. 13mm width. These are not cheap hose clips and are made to last!
Proper clamping of the intercooler hoses is essential especially for remapped Td5 engines. Cheap hoses can come off easily or damage intercooler hoses by gradually cutting through them over time. Original Land Rover intercooler hoses will by now be very soft and pliable meaning that under heavy load they can collapse and restrict air flow.
When replacing intercooler hoses it is always advisable to replace the hose clips at the same time, and stainless steel genuine Jubilee® clips are a great choice.
How tight should they be done up?
People always overtighten hose clips! But there is no need. Below are the recommended and maximum torque settings for each of the hose clips in this kit – as you will see these are basically hand tight plus a tiny bit. Overtightening will have the opposite effect to what you are trying to achieve and reduce the effectiveness and lifespan of the clips.
- The smaller hose clips have a maximum torque of 7.9Nm and recommended torque of 5.9Nm
- The larger hose clips have a maximum torque of 9Nm and recommended torque of 6.7Nm

Some products and brands may carry a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and testing before any repair, replacement or refund is authorised.
