This stainless steel turbo oil feed banjo bolt is a direct replacement for Land Rover part SYG100510 (also listed as SYG100510L) on Td5 engines. It secures the turbocharger oil feed pipe and is critical to maintaining a clean, reliable oil supply to the turbo on Defender and Discovery 2 Td5 models.
The original mild steel bolt is well known for rusting, seizing in the housing and rounding off when you finally need to remove it – usually when access is awkward and the turbo is in the way. Swapping to stainless is an easy win while you’re there.
Why upgrade to a stainless Td5 turbo oil feed bolt?
- Corrosion resistant stainless construction – shrugs off rust and road salt
- Stronger and more durable than the factory mild steel banjo bolt
- Helps maintain a clean, reliable oil feed to the turbocharger
- Easier future removal when changing the turbo or oil feed pipe again
- Ideal for daily-driven Defenders and Discovery 2s, overland builds and tuned Td5s
- Pairs perfectly with the Td5 stainless turbo drain and feed kit
What’s included
- 1 x stainless steel banjo bolt suitable to replace SYG100510

Fitting notes & related parts
Always work on a cool engine and use new sealing washers whenever you disturb a turbo oil feed banjo. After fitting:
- Check torque and alignment of the oil feed pipe.
- Start the engine and carefully inspect for oil leaks.
- Re-check after a short road test.
For a more complete job, pair this stainless banjo bolt with a new Td5 turbo oil feed pipe, fresh engine oil and filter, and any required turbo gaskets from our Td5 servicing and turbo sections.
