Description
Late Td5 rocker cover gasket replacement
LVP000020G is the later Td5 rocker cover gasket for 15P and 16P engines. It fits Defender Td5 2001–2007 and Discovery 2 Td5 2001–2004, and is also used on Td5 engines that have been fitted with an AMC cylinder head.
A worn or compressed rocker cover gasket can cause oil misting or oil leakage around the top of the cylinder head. If the rocker cover is being removed for injector loom work, oil leak repair or cylinder head work, it is sensible to refit it with a fresh gasket.
There are early and late Td5 rocker cover gasket types, so confirm the engine type and cylinder head before ordering.
