Defender vented front brake calipers supplied as a complete left- and right-hand pair, upgraded with stainless steel pistons for improved resistance to corrosion and sticking. Replaces SEB500460 and SEB500470 on Defender 90, 110 and 130 models fitted with the corresponding vented front brake setup.

Description
Defender vented front brake caliper pair replacing SEB500460 on the right-hand side and SEB500470 on the left. Stainless steel pistons are fitted in place of conventional steel pistons, providing better corrosion resistance and dealing with one of the common causes of sticking or dragging calipers on vehicles exposed to mud, water, winter road salt or long periods standing.
These retain the standard vented-disc caliper layout; the upgrade is the piston material rather than a change in disc size or brake configuration. Supplied as a complete front axle pair, they replace old calipers that are seized, heavily corroded, causing uneven pad wear or making the vehicle pull under braking.
Vehicle Fitment
- Defender 90 fitted with vented front discs using SEB500460 and SEB500470
- Defender 110 fitted with the SEB500460 and SEB500470 vented front brake setup
- Defender 130 fitted with the SEB500460 and SEB500470 vented front brake setup
Not suitable for vehicles with solid front discs. Check the existing caliper part numbers where the brakes have previously been converted or later brake components have been fitted.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects.
