LOF POWERspec vented front brake kit for Defender 90, 110 and 130 models from 1994–2016, combining dimpled and grooved front discs with matched POWERspec brake pads and the main fitting and hub hardware needed when changing the discs. This is our lower-priced complete performance package for the standard Defender vented front brake setup, with new pad hardware, caliper bolts, Corteco hub seals, hub nuts, locking washers and drive flange gaskets included rather than simply supplying discs and pads.

Defender solid-disc and vented-disc front brake setups use different calipers. Check the existing front discs before ordering, particularly on earlier or lower-spec Defender 90 models which may still have solid front brakes.
LOF POWERspec Front Brakes
POWERspec uses dimpled and grooved vented discs with matching LOF performance pads while retaining the standard Defender vented-disc calipers and disc dimensions. The main advantage of this kit is the package itself: discs, pads and the associated brake and hub fitting parts are supplied together, making it a straightforward way to renew and uprate the existing vented front brake setup without moving into the higher-priced EBC package.

We also offer an equivalent EBC front brake upgrade using EBC GD415 Turbo Groove discs and DP4708R Yellowstuff pads. The EBC kit is the natural step-up from the POWERspec package, combining components from an established specialist braking manufacturer with EBC’s clearly identified Yellowstuff friction grade and stronger product provenance.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
