This Alive Tuning™ silicone turbo inlet hose is a direct-fit upgrade for the Land Rover Defender TD5. Designed and manufactured in partnership with Samco Sport®, it delivers exceptional strength, airflow efficiency, and reliability – all backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Why Upgrade?
The factory TD5 inlet hose is prone to collapsing under vacuum, especially on tuned engines or when fitted with a restricted induction system (such as a snorkel). This restricts airflow and reduces performance. The wire helix reinforcement in the Alive Tuning™ hose eliminates this risk, making it a near-essential part for tuned and performance-focused TD5 builds.
Breather System Improvement
This hose is designed with no breather port. We recommend routing the engine breather through a catch tank and venting it to atmosphere. This avoids oil vapour contaminating the intake system, which otherwise coats intercoolers, hoses, and manifolds – reducing efficiency.

Cost-Effective Alternative

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
