Description
Defender wingtop bonnet release cable guard
The Defender bonnet release cable can be reached through the driver’s side wing vent. Once the vent is removed, the cable can be pulled from outside the vehicle, allowing the bonnet to be opened without using the interior release handle.
This stainless steel wingtop guard blocks that access route while keeping the exterior appearance close to standard. It is fitted using anti-tamper fixings and is designed to make the bonnet release cable much harder to reach from the wing vent area.
