AIRTEC performance intercooler for Discovery 2 TD5 manual models
This AIRTEC Motorsport performance front-mount intercooler (ATINTLR01) fits Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 manual models. It is a vehicle-specific direct-fit upgrade supplied with mounting brackets, fittings and fitting instructions.
One of the advantages of the AIRTEC design is its use of cast end tanks and a bar-and-plate core. This gives a stronger, more durable intercooler than many lighter fabricated sheet aluminium alternatives, with less tendency to flex around the tank and weld areas. That makes it a sensible choice for hard-worked, tuned, towing and off-road Discovery 2 TD5 vehicles.
A larger performance intercooler helps improve charge-air cooling, which is especially useful on tuned, remapped, towing or hard-worked TD5 vehicles. Cooler intake air can support more consistent performance under load, particularly where the standard intercooler is no longer suitable for the vehicle’s setup.
Check the gearbox fitment before ordering. This intercooler is for manual Discovery 2 TD5 models only and is not suitable for automatic models.

Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
